Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Terkejut! (What a surprise!). Alhamdullilah, after 76 days of travel circumnavigating the globe, at ground level, through four continents, at 4:25pm earlier today on Friday 27 September 2019, kembali ke tanah air πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ Malaysia.

What was supposed to have been a quiet coffee and asam pedas catch up in my 3 hour transit in Johor Bharu with former JB MP, long term collaborator and partner on development of Iskandar Malaysia and my MCKK super senior, Tan Sri Shahrir Samad, instead became a somewhat full on welcome home, with kompang, mini orchestra performance and a beautiful home cooked meal at Mutiara Hotel! Bunga Manggar saja takde, which is just as well otherwise Mas may not believe me what’s going on πŸ˜‚

Am really overwhelmed, my goodness, alhamdullilah and thank you very much to Tan Sri Shahril and everyone from the bottom of my heart. The children especially were very special. 😍 Thanks too to Rezal Rahman for sending me to the Woodlands train in SG and its always great to cross the Causeway on a homecoming. Left JB Sentral for Gemas with a warm glow and a full tummy, tq too to En Mohd Najib, the station manager. Am very grateful and its so good to be home, alhamdullilah.πŸ™πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύβ€οΈπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΎπŸ™
